Ethan Beck Homes LLC is committed to building new sustainable, and efficient residential single and multiple family homes in the Portland area. These green homes are typically constructed on infill lots to maximize density and minimize urban sprawl. Ethan Beck’s green homes are designed and built to be efficient, sustainable and provide modern amenities. All homes are Northwest ENERGY STAR qualified and Earth Advantage® certified. Through these programs the homeowner can be assured that his or her home is:

Energy efficient

At a minimum Ethan Beck Homes are 15 percent more energy efficient than conventional homes. The use of products such as energy-efficient windows, appliances, mechanical systems and light fixtures result in lower energy usage and greater comfort year-round. The homes are insulated and air-sealed well beyond code.

Healthy and safe

The air inside your home makes a difference in how you feel every day. Our homes use controlled ventilation systems and low-toxic building materials to promote indoor air quality.

Environmentally responsible

Ethan Beck Homes are constructed using site measures that minimize the environmental impact, including recycling waste materials, preserving trees, and adding drought-resistant plants. The homes are often built near amenities such as public transportation and grocery stores, thus allowing the homeowner to minimize his or her carbon footprint.

Resource efficient

Many materials used in the building process are made with a high recycled content including carpet constructed from plastic soda bottles, insulation from newspaper and the use of reclaimed wood. The homes employ advanced framing techniques in order to reduce the amount of wood used in the framing process.
